AVL is the world's largest independent company, with over 70 years’ experience, for the development, simulation and testing of powertrain systems, their integration into the vehicle as well as new fields like ADAS/AD and Data Intelligence. AVL achieves unique results in regard to the development and improvement of all types of powertrains as well as in the field of measurement and test technology. AVL has been involved in more than 1,500 engine development projects and more than 4,000 engine testbed installations.

Founded in 2015, Deep Concept was born out of a growing need for expertise in power semiconductor packaging. DEEP Concept offers studies, expertise and prototyping in the power electronics R&D market, including packaging of power components (materials, interconnections, technologies), realization of innovative designs and their optimizations by finite element modelling, manufacturing of micro-series of power modules based on conventional or innovative solutions and testing and analysis of the packaging and its assembly.

” As an expert in packaging for integrated power electronics, DEEP Concept will be in charge of an optimization of the design of the switching cell, in close collaboration with the CSIC teams;  from the model to the manufacturing of functional prototypes, with activities in the generation of the Digital Twins and Reliability analysis.”

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC) is a well positioned research center both for the development of new micro and nano technologies, components and systems (considered Key Enabling Technologies by the European Commission) and also for the application of such technologies to improve knowledge and to help face societal challenges. IMB-CNM's main activities include basic and applied research and development, education and training in micro and nanotechnologies, components and systems.

SCAPE project coordinator - IREC is the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research. IREC’s mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of our society implementing industrial competitiveness, generating scientific knowledge, and building technology around energy related issues. IREC works on Applied Research, generating knowledge with a mid-term and long-term goal in mind. IREC also performs Technology Research focused on collaboration with Industry to create new technical solutions to bring innovation to science and technology.

ISINNOVA is a multidisciplinary research institute delivering strategic and innovative solutions to complex challenges, on a mission to inspire well-informed transitions towards sustainable futures. MElting Lab was born at the University of Modena and Reggio (UNIMORE), within the Department of Engineering ‘Enzo Ferrari’, with the specific aim of melting together knowledge in the fields of mechanical, electronic and electric engineering. MElting Lab supports research and teaching in power electronics, electric drives and electrical motors. MElting Lab has successfully coordinated two European Projects on green mobility (ALEA and RAISE). MElting Lab has developed high quality and high efficiency DC-DC/DC-AC power converters, advanced digital motor control techniques based on microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and FPGA.
