Connecting the Dots: WP2 Insights, Gaps & Change Readiness
As the leader of Work Package 2 (WP2), devoted to Powertrain Requirements for Relevant Use Cases under a Wide Range of EVs, AVL-TR has successfully delivered the collaboration method, use cases, system requirements, test cases, and the first gap analysis report. Two additional gap analysis reports are planned for upcoming phases.
Recently, WP2 focused on defining lower-level system requirements in close collaboration with all project partners, offering support for updates as needed. To ensure alignment, WP2 members actively participated in other WP meetings, capturing key technical discussions that could impact system requirements or test cases. The main focus areas for the next gap analysis deliverables are outlined in the image below.

Distinction Between Gap Analysis Content and Core Deliverables
Even after finalising major WP2 deliverables, AVL-TR remains deeply engaged across the project, contributing to a broader cross-functional dialogue. This continued involvement helps identify areas for improvement, optimisation, and proactive change.
In preparation for future change management steps, AVL-TR is coordinating approvals, contributing to impact analyses, and supporting smooth integration processes. This iterative and collaborative approach not only ensures WP2’s adaptability but also keeps system development aligned with evolving project needs.
Looking ahead, two additional gap analysis and change management reports will be delivered to guide and refine the project’s strategic direction.
